History of The Villa Property

During the 1950s, the property began its journey, laying the foundation for decades of growth and transformation. Over time, it evolved into a Cypress tree farm in the mid-1990s, adding natural beauty and character to the land.

Today, the property shines as a fully reimagined French Country–inspired event venue, where timeless charm meets modern elegance. Every detail celebrates its rich history while creating a welcoming backdrop for unforgettable gatherings and celebrations.

The Villa is proudly part of a family of properties that includes The Sadie Jane, Pinewood Country Club, and NOLA Southern Grill Restaurant & Catering. The Villa, a premier French Country event venue in Pearl River County, sets a new standard for weddings, receptions, and corporate or social events in Southwest Mississippi. Spanning over eleven acres of scenic rolling hills with Oak and Leyland Cypress trees, it offers versatile indoor and outdoor event spaces. Purchased by Louis Ochoa in 2021, The Villa is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences with professional service and personalized catering.

Amenities:

Features 4,000 sq. ft. ceremony/reception area with a beautiful mix of rustic and French simplistic elegance using a soft and neutral palette of creams, tans, browns and touches of bronze, champagne, silver and golds. The Villa can accommodate indoor events with up to 400-450 people
The Villas interior features an aesthetic wall of ‘sacked’ brick, large rustic wood columns, grandeur French Country chandeliers hang from very tall, white-washed tongue and groove wood ceiling setting a tone with the sofistication of the french countryside
Full kitchen includes stainless countertops, a large food warmer, 2 ovens, a cooktop, 2 fridge/freezer units, and a 3 compartment sink for all of your food preparation needs. NOTE: Cookware , serving plates, glassware, napkins and silverware are to be brought on-site by the client
The Brides Suite includes a kitchen, full bath, a large decorative full-length standing mirror, a 4-station granite topped dressing table and an antique couch and armoire.
The Grooms Suite includes a kitchen, full bath, living room for seating and a private dressing room
A covered outdoor patio with string patio lights provide for additional seating
For outdoor weddings among the picturesque natural landscape, The Villa can provide up to 200 white resin fold-out padded chairs
